I was eager to visit Cairns Aquarium, as I’ve always had a passion for marine life. Choosing the Mantra for its prime location was a decision I felt excellent about, and I was pleasantly surprised by the fully equipped kitchen and spacious balcony. The views of the ocean were amazing, and having a place to prepare my meals allowed for a cozy and convenient stay. Plus, I loved being just steps away from a variety of eateries along the Esplanade, making exploring local cuisine enjoyable.
Room smelled damp and dated.

I recently had a fabulous stay at the Mantra Trilogy. My one-bedroom apartment provided ample space with a large living area and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a coffee machine and dishwasher. I loved sipping my morning coffee on the balcony while watching the vibrant life along the esplanade. The location made exploring nearby restaurants and shops very convenient, making it feel like a true home away from home.
Was all great! 🏖️.

The location of the hotel was superb.
During our stay, our room did not get cleaned nor were we provided with any clean towels and/or further provisions. We had to arrange this ourselves by asking for it at the hotel reception. But this meant that by the end of our 4 night stay, we had a pile of wet towels in the corner on our bathroom floor because we had no means to dry these. We also weren't impressed with the $100 deposit we were made to pay when we checked in. We were never informed of this fee when we booked (and paid for) our room nor was it very well explained at check in. We were on a tight budget and this put a serious damper on our holiday, especially since we were informed we'd get this money back about 5 working days after check out.

Clean hotel in an interesting building very close to esplanade, and restaurants, eateries and stores literally around the corner, the beach across the road, the Night Markets 2 blocks away. Decent sized and stylish rooms, efficient employees at reception desk. Great pool, parking off site. Fantastic amazing location, sure to stay in tower 2 as that is the recently renovated tower.

we had a pleasant stay at Mantra, enjoying the convenient location close to dining options and the pier for boat tours. our apartment was spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for our family trip. having laundry facilities was a great bonus, and the pool area was nice for relaxing. overall, we appreciated the cleanliness and the amenities provided, even though the kitchen setup was limited.
Wifi charging extra is a letdown 😒. some improvements needed!

Location and excellent air-conditioning, especially in the Cairns humidity!
Lack of chairs on balcony, other apartments had chairs and when reception contacted was told there was no more chairs left.

Excellent location, beautiful view of ocean, wharf & boardwalk areas. Two Bedroom apartment was very good for family or 2 couples.
The pool area was beautiful, but the temperature of the pool was very cold for our stay in June and we were unable to swim.
